Tavon Vastsea says 'This time the crisis threatens not only Norrath, but all of existence as we know it. Invaders from the Realm of Discord have transversed time and space to conquer this realm. The invaders, these Muramites, are not where the true threat lies. All of Norrath has banded together to stop these invaders, we have managed to halt their incursion for the time being. There are, however, whispers of a [dark faction] within our own, Norrathians who see our fight as futile, and are looking to swear fealty to the forces of the Legion.'
You say, 'what dark faction?'
Tavon Vastsea says 'We don't know much more about them. As I said, they are just whispers, but whispers in unison are loud enough for deaf ears. We cannot afford to present anything short of a unified front, should the Legion push toward Norrath with its full force. We need your assistance to find and exterminate these traitors. I can give you what little [information] I have, hopefully you will be able to track these betrayers to their leader.'
You say, 'what information?'
Tavon Vastsea says 'Travel to Taelosia. There you will find a young native, named Jomaj who had some suspicious dealings with someone claiming they were with the wayfarer's brotherhood. This is the closest I have to direction, gather information from this Taelosian, and bring it to my friend Shav on the Thorn. Find proof as to whether or not these traitors actually exist and return it to me.'
Tavon VastseaさんはOmat Vastseaさんの兄弟で、時空を超えやってきた侵略者たちに立ち向かうため、再びあなたのことを必要としているようです。
1-2グループほどの人数でBarinduに向かいましょう。Tipt/Vxedに続く道の入り口のそばにあるトウモロコシ畑に目的のJomaj Kaiijinさんがいます。彼はおよそ2時間Repopと言われています。(もしくはあなたの前のクエスト実行者がクエストアイテムであるnoteをLootしてからRepopという話もあります)
Spoilerによっては2 Acc Boxでいけた、なんてことも書いてあったりしますがちゃんとグループを組んで行ったほうが無難です。Baldioさんは当然ソロなんて無理なので、ここでちょっと挫折しかけていましたがGaynor, Enzoferrari, Madmanx, Kuukai, Altemisさんにお越しいただきました。

Jomaj Kaiijin says 'Please don't hurt me! Oh, you aren't one of them. Are you here to ask about the [Wayfarers] that I spoke with?'
You say, 'what wayfarers?'
Jomaj Kaiijin says 'They came to me, asking about the Legion. They wanted to know information on the ranks, how to contact the leaders. They claimed they were looking for information to infiltrate the Legion, but they seemed a little off, even for the Brotherhood. They gave me this note to pass on to the Legion. The whole situation did not seem right to me, you may have the [note]. If they were honestly with the Brotherhood return it to me, and I'll do what they asked. Anything to be rid of these creatures.'
You say, 'what note?'
Jomaj Kaiijin reaches into his tattered robes. As he begins to pull out the note he is impaled in the chest with an arrow. A dark figure melts from the shadows and pulls the note from the hand of the body.
A Kyv Runner says, "Commander Votal will want to see this!"
Jomaj Kaiijinさんがノートを取り出そうとしたとき、A Kyv RunnerさんがすかさずJomaj Kaiijinさんを射殺してノートを奪い取ってしまいます。そこで、A Kyv Runnerさんに復讐してしまいましょう。彼は850の殴りと690 DD Proc持ちのLevel 67です。いきなり殴られるので、事前にDAしておいたほうが安全かもしれません。(Baldioさんは殴られて半殺しの目に遭いました)
A Kyv Runnerさんを始末すると、以下のようなメッセージが出ます。
"As the runner falls to the ground it manages to wrap the note around an arrow and shoot it into the ground nearby, where it is quickly picked up by a Muramite."
A Kyv Runnerが倒れると同時に、持っていたノートをすばやく弓矢でどこかに飛ばしちゃったようです。そしてそれをMuramiteが持ち逃げしていってしまいました。しかたがないので近くにいるNPCを手当たり次第に倒してみましょう。(NPCのPetが持っていることもあるので、そちらのLoot確認も忘れずに)
Spoilerによると、Clayed Laborer, Ghost, MastrugsなどからのDropが確認されているそうです。…Baldioさんの場合はすぐそばにいたNPCを一体Killしたら、いきなりノートを持ってました。どうやら最後の一矢は飛距離50センチだったもよう。
Lootするアイテム: Encrypted Note (Item Lore: You cannot identify the code or language)
Tavon Vastseaさんに言われたとおり、ノートをShav the Cryptologistさんに渡しましょう。彼女はAbysmal SeaのNec Spell Vendorのそばにいるので、Find NPCでまずNec Spell Vendorを探し、その向かいの部屋を探すとすぐに見つかります。
You give Shav the Cryptologist the "Encrypted Note"
Shav the Cryptologist says "Interesting, you say someone who claims to be part of the Brotherhood wrote this? This is one of the dialects used by the Legion. I am the only one able to read or write any of their languages, and this is the first I have seen of this note. From what I can tell, the author is trying to arrange a meeting with the Muramites. It sounds like the contact spot is pre-arranged, as it is only vaguely referred to here. I doubt this is the first note of this nature, perhaps if you could find earlier correspondence we can find the location of the camp."
1-2グループほどでFerubiに向かい、Mapを集めましょう。Baldioさんの場合はA Kyv Runnerのあと、そのままみなさんに協力していただきました。集めるMap Pieceは以下の4つです。

RippedとTatteredはSmith Rondo Event AreaやVotal Event Areaに移動する途中で余るくらいDropします。ShreddedはややRare Dropの印象でした。Tornはなかなか出なくて、1-2時間くらいVotal Event Areaでキャンプしてやっと出ました。その後すぐにもう一枚出ちゃいましたけど。
Map Pieceを4つ集め終わったら、Abysmal Seaへ戻りShav the Cryptologistさんに4枚とも渡します。
Shav the Cryptologist says "ahh yes, this is exactly what we needed."
She scratches a few notes down on a piece of paper.
Shav the Cryptologist says "Bring this to Tweister in Nedaria's Landing. She will tell you the location of the camp."
どうやら御満足いただけたようです。4つの破片を組み立て、何かをメモして返してくれました。
受け取るアイテム: Assembled Map (Item Lore: Map Fully Assembled) ゲーム中の実アイテムはつづりが微妙に間違っていますが、気にしてはいけません。

Mapを解読すると、どうやらそれはLesser Faydarkの南西の角を指し示しているようです。
この時点では受け取るアイテムはありません。彼女がMapを預かったまま、何も返ってきません。
このパートはLesser FaydarkでRaid Eventです。なるべく多くの協力者を集め、よその冒険者たちにはEvent Pointに近づかないように警告しておきましょう。

Taskmaster Mirotさんに勝利すると、箱が出現します。中味は以下のようなもののうち1つが入っているもよう。

Scout Leader PlavoさんはWakening Landsの南西エリアにいます。彼はLevel 70のHalfElf Warriorです。

Scout Leader Plavo says 'I don't know you. I don't want to know you. Begone from my sight or the air escaping from your lungs will be the last sound you hear.'

単に挨拶しただけだと取り合ってくれません。というか、なんだかやけに物騒なひとです。ここはおとなしくDark Disciples Notice of Serviceを渡してみましょう。
Scout Leader Plavo says 'You are from the Faydwer camp are you? I'm not terribly familiar with the faces from there. Anyway, the scouts have been sent out, and are gathering the "parts" that we believe the Legion will need to prepare for the incursion into our realm. If we are to find their good graces, we must prove that we will stop at nothing to [aid] them.'
You say, "aid them?"
Scout Leader Plavo says 'They will research and learn about the greatest mortal beings in this realm. Learning about the creatures that may prove to be friend or foe, so they prepare for either. Our scouts have gathered most of the information that they need, but there are a few creatures that we still need to harvest brains from. Currently scouts are attempting to find the brain of the Shissar, a dragon, and an Akhevan. I am sure any of the scouts would welcome your assistance. I will send runners ahead to notify them you may be arriving.'
話によると、調査のためにShissarとDragonとAkhevaのBrainを必要としているようです。

Scout Pirriさんは場所固定のようです。例によっていきなり殴ってきますので事前にDAをしてからHailしましょう。

『アイテムが欲しければ、死んでもにぎりしめたこの手から取るんだね。』とか、またまた物騒なことを言っています。1グループほどの戦力で倒してDragon Cerebrumを強奪しちゃいましょう。
Atulinae`ViusさんはVex Thal Key関連のNPCがいる側の祭壇のような階段の上に3 Popです。ドロップ率はそう悪くありませんし、Repopも早いので、現場に到着してから20-30分くらいで出ると思います。Baldioさんは10人ほど倒したところで出ました。SpoilerによってはSolo可能とありますが、こちらも1グループ弱で行ったほうが安心です。BaldioさんはScout PirriとAkhevaをBenhill, Enzoferrari, Laresさんに御協力していただきました。どうもありがとうございます。
Shissar Cerebral Cortexはこの中では一番出にくいです。もともとEliteが少ないのに加え、RepopもAkhevaより長め、ドロップ率も低めなので3-4時間くらいは見ておいたほうがいいかもしれません。敵自体はEliteが倒せる戦力ならいけますが、やっぱりClericだとSoloは厳しいと思いました。BaldioさんはEnzoferrari, Gaynor, Kuukaiさんにお手伝いしていただきました。どうもありがとうございます。
BE PREPARED for a BIG FIGHT!
この部分については色々と憶測が飛び交っているようで、正確な情報はわかりませんがとりあえずあちこちから引用:
You need as many people as you can get! Kiters, mezzers, healers!!! 5-6+ Groups!!! IF YOU LOSE THIS FIGHT, YOU LOSE THE BRAINS (and probably your hair too)! (I've heard there's 20-30 spawns on this? Yet, I do not know where those numbers come from. I'm thinking the Master is the main boss, Plavo's Remains, and the Minion... and that's 3, unless there's multiple minions ? any verification on this?) *************** Turn in the 3 brains to Plavo. Plavo despawns and a Dark Disciple Master spawns. You must defeat him (he'll despawn at 10%) Dark Disciple Master: Very High DPS, 1-2K per swing, Casts AoE DD + Manadrain + Reflect spells, every 30 seconds. Unslowable, Highly Magic Resistant! At 60% Spawns Plavo's Remains - High DPS, Unslowable/Unmezzable At 30% Spawns Minion of the Master - Avg DPS, Unslowable/Unmezzable At 10% Approximetely Dark Disciple Master Despawns and a Chest will appear. Turn in brains to Plavo. Plavo despawns and a Dark Disciple Master spawns. Raid event. (If you lose the fight you lose the brains). Defeat Dark Disciple Master and he despawns . Raid Notes: Recommended Raid Force of more than 6 Groups ************************************ Dark Disciple Master (Human in Robe) AE = Deathly Chants = -1500 Mana Pool + 100DoT(Tick) = 18 Seconds Apart Max Hit 1-2k Slowable : Yes (Very Resistant) Messable : No Rampage : Yes Flurry : No If you have a decent tank his DPS isnt bad 1 cleric could keep a well geared tank up alone with CH if had to. The way i did it was using remedy's max range to avoid the AE worked well. ************************************ Plavo's Remains (Specter) Spawns at 60% Max Hit 1k Slowable : Yes Messable : No Rampage : No Flurry : Yes This guy is cake just pull him to behind clerics out of AE range and kill him with dps then put DPS back on Master. ************************************ Minion of the Master (Skeletons) Spawns at 30% : 4 Minions (2 at 30% and 2 and 20%) Max Hit 700 Slowable : Yes Messable : No Snareable : Yes Rampage : No Flurry : No What we encountered was 2 skeleton adds at DDM 30% health, and 2 additional adds at DDM 20% health. DDM became a locked chest at 10% heath and etc. Just kite them and keep DPS on master. The final spawns (skeletons) were Mezzable, although resistant. Like the ones in the Lfay fight, and a maximum of 4 spawned. This information trivializes the encounter quite a bit. yeah i've done it about 3-4 times since this change was made. we didnt even bother mezzing the skleletons, they are easy to train and with so few one can just burn down the boss with ease now. for a qvic+ guild i'd suggest this fight would take no more then 18 people now. Spawns at 10%: Chest - Can use /open or Rogue to Pick, or just attack and destroy. You also will not be able to loot if anything has aggro on you if you get the message that enemys are near by just camp out come back and loot it. times i have done it, iv seen the adds at 25%, also seemed the less in raid, less skellys, more in raid, more skellys. BUT one thing we did find out last time, named doenst summon ;p so if things go bad, just start kiting the big guy well you rez up, we wiped at like 50% on him, kited him and plavo, rezzed, buffed, kill plavo, then brought named in but wiped at like 14% ;/ Q. If you fail the Wakening Lands raid, do you have get all the brains again? A. Yes
この部分に関してはPatchで変更が入ったのか、最初のころはBugだったのか、デタラメな情報が流れていたのかは知りませんが、調べてみると50人でも勝てないとか、18人くらいで楽勝とか、いろいろなことが書いてあります。結果としては、20人くらいでも勝てました。まずDAをしてからすぐにScout Leader Plavoさんに集めてきた脳みそを3つとも渡します。
すると、その場に水色のローブを着たHuman MaleのMonk風味のひとが出て襲ってきます。Mana Drainがあるので、Casterは遠くから魔法を唱えるように注意しつつ、60%まで削ります。Dark Disciple Masterが60%になると、今度はその場にPlavo's Remainsが出現します。生前は物騒なHalf Elfでしたが、今回はSpectreになって襲ってくるので2nd TankにCatchしてもらい、先にこちらを倒しましょう。
無事にPlavo's Remainsを倒したら、またDark Disciple Masterを削っていきます。DDMが30%まで削られると、次はMinion of the Masterというお名前の骨が2体その場にPopします。この骨を適当にあしらいつつ、さらにDDMを削ると20%でさらに骨が2体あらわれます(合計で4体)。骨をなんとかしつつ、DDMをもっと削っていくと10%で彼はa gilded chestという箱に変身してしまいます。箱は攻撃してこないので、ここまできたら骨を倒しましょう。箱はLDoNのトラップがかかっていたりいなかったりするので、必要があれば魔法でなにかをしてから(この部分はVillardさんにやってもらったのでよくわかりません)、箱を/openするとAegis of Chaotic Worshipが手に入ります。
Baldioさんは運良く1回目のトライで勝つことができたので、実際はどうなのかわかりませんが、失敗すると集めてきた3つのBrainはまた集めなおしになるそうなので、注意したほうがよさそうです。

Aegis of Chaotic WorshipをTavonさんに渡します。
Tavon Vastsea says, 'Interesting, I heard about your fight with the leader of the Disciples. I've never seen anything like this. Take it to Borik Darkanvil in the Plane of Knowledge. Return to me when you are done with him, in the meantime I will try to find information on where he went after your fight.'
Tavonさんに盾を見せると、Plane of KnowledgeにいるBorik Darkanvilさんに渡してこいと言われるので、さっそく渡しに向かいます。
Borik Darkanvilさんは-370, +500にいます。Black Smithing Suppliesを扱っているVendorなので、NPC Findで探すと便利です。BorikさんにもAegis of Chaotic Worshipを見せてみます。
Borik Darkanvil says, 'This is truly amazing. I've never seen a metal like this it is almost alive. It appears similar to some of the alloys that we have seen from the Legion, but this is like nothing I have ever seen. It suggest that the leader has been through the portal. I am afraid it will not be of any use to you in its current state, the metal is attuned to a single person. I believe the resonance can be changed, so you may use it. Speak to Navtil he will tell you what you need to do, I believe he has traveled through the portal for some metallurgical research in Discord.'
この盾の金属は生きているようだと驚きつつも、このままじゃ使えないからNatvilさんのところへ聞きに行ってというアドバイスをいただきました。Natvilさんは金属の研究のためにどこかに旅立っているようです。
NatvilさんはRuined City of DranikのInstance Zone前にいます。聞き込み調査をしてみると、このように言われます。
Natvil says, 'Greetings, well met, salutations, and good day! I hear you are trying to change the resonance on a shield from Discord. Well I believe that is something with which I can assist you. You will need to have a temper made from some of the native creatures of Discord, you'll need the plasma from one of the giants of Discord, one of those flying squids, and the blood from one of those fiery women. Brewing the temper should prove no trouble for you. Once you have the temper combine it with the shield in the forge with a flask of water, and it should become attuned to you. Once you are finished return to me, so I may evaluate your work.'
盾の性質を変えるには、合金添加物が必要のようです。また、その合金添加物を作成するには3つのアイテムが必要だとヒントをくれます。
Walls of SlaughterやNobles' CausewayにいるBazu, Murkgliderを倒すとそれぞれBazu PlasmaとMurkglider Plasmaをドロップします。ドロップ率は悪くないので、自力で集めることもできると思いますし今だとバザーでも安く売っているみたいです。
Pyrilen PlasmaはWalls of SlaughterにいるDragorn AssassinというHumanがたぶんほぼ毎回持っています。PopもそうRareではないので、集めるのはそう苦労しないはずです。
3つのPlasmaが揃ったら、それをBrewingでCombineするとSoul Temperというアイテムが出来上がります。必要なSkillは100くらいという話ですが、BaldioさんはBrewing Skillが3だったのでGaynorさんに作成していただきました。
最後にAegis of Chaotic Worship, Soul Temper, Water FlaskをForgeでCombineすると、とうとうHarmony of the Soulの完成です。Black SmithingのSkillは必要ではないもよう。BaldioさんはCombine時にBlack Smithing 3でしたが、問題なくCombineできました。(このCombineで4になりました)
